We are looking to hire a Software Engineer to join the Simplebet Data Engineering Team!
Responsibilities:
- Build robust and reliable ETL pipelines with best practices and data governance in mind using Python, SQL, Prefect, Databricks, Kafka, and PostgreSQL
- Work on our Django REST API to serve master data throughout the company
- Organize raw sports data from a variety of sources into a cohesive, centralized data warehouse
- Build and improve our real-time streaming data infrastructure and products
- Organize product data in our Databricks Lakehouse
Requirements:
- 2+ years of data-oriented software development experience
- Experience working with Python and SQL is a must
- Understanding of data modeling best practices
- Experience building spark applications with PySpark
Bonus Points For:
- Experience working with databricks
- Experience with Django, Flask or Fast API
- Experience with delta lake
- Experience with confluent kafka
- Experience with prefect
- Passion for sports
