Simplebet is a B2B product development company using machine learning and real-time technology to make every moment of every sporting event a betting opportunity.
Simplebet is looking for a Sports Data Scientist to build, analyze, and improve the machine learning models that power our micro betting experience. As we grow our business to cover new sports, new betting markets, and new sportsbook partners, you will be integral in ensuring that we are providing our partners with best-in-class sports betting models.
We’ll Trust You To:
- Build machine learning models to predict sports outcomes
- Analyze the performance of existing machine learning models and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to clearly communicate results of analyses
You’ll Need To Have:
- Strong passion for sports (NFL, MLB, NBA)
- Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points For:
- Projects involving creative analysis of sports data
- Staying up-to-date with research in sports analytics
- Experience in sports betting
- Experience with deploying production machine learning models
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
