FP&A is a trusted financial advisor to our business partners. We strive to be experts in the business functions we support and bring execution to the company’s strategy. We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Finance Analyst to partner with our Go-To-Market functions: Global Sales & Marketing. The role will report to the FP&A Manager.

You will be a key contributor to the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. This position will provide financial reporting and analytical support at BetterUp for our functional partners along with Corporate requirements. This role will focus heavily on reporting and analytics and business partnering. To be successful in this role, you must be a “roll-up your sleeves” type of professional that is eager to get deep into the details of data, dynamics, and processes, to bring back insight through efficient and smart analysis. What you’ll do:

  • Be the key business partner between Finance and company leadership within our Go-To-Market functions
  • Deploy a best-in-class reporting package to leaders, enabling insight to actuals performance vs budget and informing future guidance
  • Partner with business leaders to inform annual budget
  • Create/deliver KPI scorecards on LTV/CAC, to drive investment prioritization
  • Provide financial support for key strategic and operational projects
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related degrees; MBA a plus
  • 4+ years or more of finance experience in the software, SaaS, technology industry
  • Prior direct business partnering experience (preferably supporting Sales and Marketing functions)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent researching and problem-solving
  • Advanced Excel Skills. Experience with Google Sheets, Docs, Slides.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning and Workday preferred (or similar Planning & ERP tools)
