The Job:  

As a Strategic Insights & Analytics Senior Manager, you’ll be part of our Marketing team working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to:   

  • Leverage sales performance and shopper understanding to develop strategic and actionable insights for SBD Brands targeted to the Professional User
    • Lead acquisition and synthesis of insights from different sources of data (e.g. sales data, shopper panels, primary research)
    • Provide a deep understanding of business growth drivers; identify trends and opportunities for new sources of growth
    • Monitor retail and E-commerce trends and competitive dynamics.
    • Regularly create and take part in activities with consumers and shoppers to understand the why behind the behavior
  • Transforms data into actionable insights influencing the decisions and behavior of senior and executive level leaders 
    • Create and implement strategic learning plans to address the most critical questions for the business. 
    • Guide specific research development and execution using expertise in a wide variety of research methods.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities to Win the PRO at the category, brand, channel, and country level
    • Provide a deep understanding of business growth drivers; identify trends and opportunities for new sources of growth
    • Synthesize disparate data and transform it into actionable insights for teams
    • Make recommendations grounded in consumer and market knowledge, guided by a broader understanding of consumer, customer, and channel insights

The Person:  

You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re an Enthusiastic, out-of-the-box thinker who can synthesize many sources and types of data and insights to create clear recommendations.  Comfortable with Shopper Insights, Market Share/sales data, and marketing strategy. You also have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Consumer Insights, Brand or Shopper Marketing, and/or Marketing Strategy
  • Excellent analytical, time-management, and project-management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Self-driven & internally motivated
  • Team player
  • Experience analyzing sales and/or syndicated shopper data
  • Experience building holistic learning plans that integrate data, trends, and primary research
  • Experience blending quantitative and qualitative learning for a clear story and action plan
  • Proven ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders, including external partner
  • Experience in analyzing and drawing conclusions from point-of-sale data, browsing, and buying behavior, and consumer persecutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
