We're seeking a driven, highly motivatedSr. Strategy & Operations Analyst to join our Business Transformation and Operations team (Btop). As a Sr. Strategy & Operations Analyst, you will continue building expertise in all aspects of strategy work, including functional and commercial strategies in our product, marketing, revenue, and enrollment services functions. You will partner with senior members of the leadership team to lead analyses that shape AP’s key strategic initiatives. Working on a cross-functional project basis, you will be responsible for taking the lead to structure problems, develop hypotheses, and deliver value-add strategic recommendations to drive overall business growth. This role requires effectively managing uncertainty and ambiguity and the successful Sr. Analyst will excel in bringing structure and objective to tackle unstructured problems.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilize data-driven insights, ranging from customer performance to internal operations, to identify areas of improvement and develop actionable recommendations
  • Lead development and implementation of business transformation initiatives, including the design of new operating models, process reengineering, and change management strategies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights on performance trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI assessments, and business case development, to support partner specific decision-making
  • Form a deep understanding of AP’s processes, systems/tools, personnel, strategic direction, and broader market ecosystem (university partners, marketing channels, contact center operational dynamics)
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Higher Education and EdTech to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Mentor other analysts on the team and manage analysts on select project-basis

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to conceive and execute quantitative analysis and deliver data-driven insights
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and data mining tools (for example SQL, Python, R) and techniques with experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to deliver synthesized reports and data-driven insights
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, driving change through influence


Requirements Include:

  • BA/BS with high proven achievement and data analysis proficiency, MBA preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in financial analysis or data analytics preferred, but not required
  • 2+ yrs consulting at firms like Booz, Accenture, A.T. Kearney, Deloitte, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, etc. or like boutique firms; or comparable industry experience
  • Advanced Excel and other MS Office skills
