Social Finance Inc. seeks Staff Data Scientist in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Develop and test pricing strategies across different consumer lending products that optimize
profitability through the improvement of revenue, credit risk, and cost per customer acquisition.
Leverage pricing models to simulate profitability from pricing strategies and forecast changes to SoFi’s
customer credit portfolio. Build reporting pipelines and dashboards to deliver results of pricing
strategies to the business. Help manage the pricing team’s data architecture by building data pipelines
to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Build intuitive and analytical models to help
decision makers understand the price elasticity of customer segments. Run significance tests and
continuously discover trends in customer behavior to inform decision making with a high level of
confidence. Routinely present analyses to SoFi business leaders. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of
experience in the field of data analysis/ operational research or two (2) years of experience in the job
offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business
Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of
progressively responsible experience in the field of data analysis/ operational research or five (5) years
of experience in the job offered.

Salary: $199,098.00 - $218,500.00 per annum.
