Job Responsibilities 

  • Help build Machine Learning and AI capabilities across the platform to scale the business and enable our organization in solving those challenges.
  • Provide thought leadership to the ML and AI company initiatives by establishing best practices and standards, while documenting along the way. 
  • Research and stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and NLP to drive innovation and new adoption.  
  • Enhance process to validate foundational models through fine tuning, defined validation workflows and risk assessment using supervised datasets.
  • Drive exploration of Prompt engineering techniques to better understand the capabilities and application of large language models (LLMs) within the platform.
  • Understand and translate business needs into data models to support long-term, scalable, and reliable solutions.
  • Work in an agile environment with a team of engineers to create products and services, and enhance existing solutions and workflows.
  • Organize and collaborate across teams in Brightcove to scope and deliver new functionality.
  • Provide operational support for Brightcove applications.
  • Adopt a team player approach by doing what needs to be done, cheering each other on, and celebrating success.

Qualifications/Experience 

  • 8+ years of industry experience
  • Advanced analytical skills refining data and defining metrics
  • Experience with system design including automation architecture and deployment pipelines 
  • Some experience with AI cloud development frameworks (i.e. AWS Bedrock)
  • Some experience with ML model assessment and building data pipelines
  • Some experience with ML Ops
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience delivering and supporting high scale SaaS 
  • Experience with TensorFlow or similar frameworks
  • Experience with LangChain or similar frameworks
  • Strong experience coding in Python
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to initiate and drive projects proactively and accurately
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Physics

          Nice to have:

  • Experience with Video Editor systems
  • Experience with Gen AI evaluations and statistical methodologies
