The Role:

The Advertising Data Science team seeks new ways to use mobile data to target audiences based on Arity insights. These insights are derived from driving data, location tracking, and other consumer profile data collected from our mobile partners. Our products allow advertisers to access telematics risk scores and mobility patterns to plan and target their efforts to reach consumers on both public platforms and Arity’s private marketplace. As an Analytics Manager on the Advertising Data Science team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a world-class group of data scientists, data engineers and business analytics consultants to develop and deliver our advertising products on both platforms. Some projects include

  • Expand and create varieties of audiences in scale based on location data such as risk, mileage, commute
  • Measure marketing effectiveness via location data and develop attribution models
  • Design the framework and implement the analytical solution for real-time bidding on Arity Advertising Platform

You are expected to influence the product strategy from a strong analytics lens. You will also help us recruit and lead top talent and have a key voice in the analytics operations at Arity.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day looks like:

  • Be a servant leader for technical contributors in Analytics roles engaged with cross-functional product development teams through coaching and mentoring
  • Develop strategic analytics visions based on the product needs
  • Translate strategic vision into priorities and tangible tracks of backlogs using data science expertise
  • Provide technical direction to the team to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables
  • Work with engineering team to productionize our insights in an efficient way
  • Get your hands dirty, dive into the data, and run analysis or build models whenever needed
  • Drive continuous improvement of data science, data engineering practices to create world-class capabilities
  • Support sales and customer success efforts by demonstrating Arity analytics maturity coupled with humility and empathy
  • Build the Arity brand by engaging in conferences, meetups, blogs and other external public engagements
  • Drive recruiting by leading efforts to build relationships in the industry, attend career fairs and create strong interviewing pipelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Geospatial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or in a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of industrial experience in marketing data analytics with solid knowledge on digital and programmatic marketing and common KPIs such as CPC, CPM
  • Working knowledge on marketing analytics, geospatial analysis, business intelligence, data engineering, machine learning, or other analytics experience in a business context, as well as hands-on experience using various tools such as Python, Spark, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience working in cloud-first environments, particularly AWS, EMR studio, Glue, Sagemaker
  • Experience of managing technical teams including data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts
  • Experience of leading end-to-end data science projects to generate measurable business values

  • Great interpersonal communicators / collaborators with both technical and non-technical team members

Compensation offered for this role is $130,400.00-$179,675.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
