To achieve our ambitious goals, we're looking for a Business Intelligence Analytics Manager to build and lead a team of BI Analysts responsible for ensuring high-quality data reporting across the product organization. This function within Grammarly’s broader Data Science team will bring clarity to high-level metrics and ensure cross-functional partners always have up-to-date information and will partner with data scientists to turn their insights and advanced metrics into ongoing reports with lasting impact. Grammarly’s BI analysts are thought leaders on how to empower everyone at Grammarly to use and access data.
This role as the manager of this team will work directly with the Head of Data Science and be responsible for building a strong foundation for Product Analytics. Read more about our stack or hear from our team on our technical blog.
Your impact
As a BI Analytics Manager, you will:
- Build, lead, and grow a team of talented BI analysts to develop scalable BI reporting solutions.
- Work with a large number of cross-functional partners with different needs.
- Work with the data engineering team to provide high quality data requirements and leverage underlying data foundation to develop solid data ETL pipeline and dashboard reports.
- Drive direction on the Product and Growth teams.
- Identify new opportunities for the use of data for all functions across Grammarly.
- Provide data-driven solutions to teams across the company.
We’re looking for someone who

- Has strong data ETL pipeline development and dashboard visualization experience.
- Ideally has 2+ years of experience managing BI analyst teams.
- Has strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as a strong bias toward actionable insights.
- Has experience helping others understand numbers.
- Holds a master’s degree in a quantitative field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
