Grammarly team members who will be collaborating at our San Francisco hub must be based in the United States.
Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect, whenever and wherever they communicate. Every day, 30 million people and 30,000 teams around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Data & ML Foundation, to join our Product team. The Senior Product Manager will oversee a strong group of machine learning (ML) engineers, research scientists, back-end engineers, and data scientists owning critical technical foundations and portions of our infrastructure. This role will focus on the long-term strategy of our foundational capabilities that in turn power all of Grammarly’s data and ML strategies. This includes overseeing how data flows through our systems and how we automate ML model development, deployment, and improvement, as well as scaling our data enrichment and annotation capabilities. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for setting short- and long-term strategies leading execution, experimentation, and productionizing while also working cross-functionally to influence roadmaps across Grammarly.
As Senior Product Manager, Data & ML Foundation, you will apply an immense amount of creativity to figure out how to leverage massive amounts of data and improve our large-scale ML models in the most scalable ways. The unique challenge of this position is to be incredibly empathetic to be able to understand the difficulties we face when bringing cutting-edge technologies to life in our product—while staying at the forefront of the rapidly changing AI/NLP field.
In this role, you will:
Within your first thirty days, you will familiarize yourself with the existing foundation that powers Grammarly. Over time you will start to validate product and technology hypotheses in the data and ML platforms. In your first six months, you will deliver impactful foundational capabilities that power user experiences used by millions every day.
At Grammarly, we value our differences, and we encourage all—especially those whose identities are traditionally underrepresented in tech organizations—to apply.
