The Data Analytics Team is seeking aBI Analyst who can help streamline processes to improve data flow for communication and analysis across different functions. This role requires out-of-the-box thinking, detail-orientation, problem solving, and innovative proposals.
Responsibilities
- Meet with stakeholders across teams to determine data workflows and data documentation
- Interacts with 3rd party technology support teams to communicate business needs and requests, exchanging feedback and recommendations for data source and reporting solutions
- Work with engineering and the data insight team to enable the appropriate capture and storage of key data points.
- Make recommendations for new metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
- Managing Workload – Manages multiple tasks with the ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Communicate status clearly and timely to management and other team members
Requirements
- 3+ years of analytical experience in business operations, data engineering, analytics, and data science, or consulting.
- 3+ years of experience with data management in TV, Media, Entertainment, or Advertising Spaces.
- 3+ years of building data visualization reports and tools for self-service consumption using visualization tools like Looker orTableau.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL and Excel.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, database architecture, SQL queries, and data science fundamentals.
- Experience interacting effectively across job levels and with both internal and external partners.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Healthy dose of skepticism and willingness to question the validity and accuracy of data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
