The Data Science (DS) team closely partners with business, product and technical stakeholders. We develop ML models for new data products which we then serve in collaboration with other teams in the Data Org. We also conduct deep-dive analyses, product experimentation, hypotheses testing to generate data insights and make recommendations to our stakeholders. What you'll do:

• Work closely with business and product teams to perform analyses, conduct investigative research and turn data into actionable insights and recommendations 
• Build queries, metrics and conduct in-depth analysis to understand content, user engagement and behaviour
• Develop new ML models and create prototype implementations focusing on applications to various challenging business problems
• Partner with product on experiment design and analysis, hypothesis development and success metrics
• Prepare and integrate large, varied datasets and also maintain them for analytics and ML use cases
• Uphold high data science standards and best practices

Do you have most of the following? If so, apply!

• You have a passion for solving business problems through data
• You have a diverse set of tools in your Data Science toolbox - Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, Product experimentation, Software engineering to name a few
• 3+ years experience working with business and product stakeholders in the capacity of a data partner
• Experience in applied machine learning or quantitative role with knowledge in statistical machine learning and deep learning techniques
• Comfort working with complex, high dimensional data
• Fluency with Python or R
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Development experience involving data pipelines and/or large-scale data processing
• You have a systematic approach to project planning and dealing with ambiguity
• You are able to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of solutions and to reason about the compromises required for systems at scale
