Brief Overview:

The Senior Analyst will play a critical role within the Growth Operations Department.  Specifically, the individual will partner with the Commercial & Growth Organization to develop reporting packages, providing insights on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both new and ongoing growth initiatives.  The individual will also support the interpretation of insights to help achieve the Commercial Team Objectives & Key Results by developing well thought out narratives to inform action by Commercial Leadership.  Lastly, the Senior Analyst will partner with operational and technical peers to identify gaps in data and develop quality control plans to enforce data compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a “power user” of Salesforce, Tableau for CRM (CRM Analytics), Excel and other tools to drive development of analytical tools.
  • Understand the key drivers of the business and support development of an analytical framework that drives actionable insights
  • Build and validate datasets to be used for reporting packages within Tableau for CRM, ensuring high quality and accuracy
  • Build reports and dashboards that satisfy business requirements and tell a cohesive story, with varying levels of detail.
  • Identify trends in reporting packages that help inform action by Commercial Leadership that are in line with strategy
  • Participate in feedback loop sessions with key stakeholders for continuous improvement
  • Maintain documentation and training materials for business users to maximize user adoption and ease of navigation
  • Serve as internal subject matter expert (SME) on commercial data to ensure other teams (e.g. Corp Analytics, Finance, Operations) are using correct information
  • Collaborate with internal Salesforce and operational teams to identify gaps in data and/or processes and enforce business rules/quality control to maintain data compliance, including setup of new users, roles, and forecast hierarchy.
  • Serve as internal subject matter expert (SME) in change management efforts (e.g. territory re-alignment) to understand impact on reporting packages and own required changes within Tableau for CRM to support the initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in Commercial Operations at high-tech or software company
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
  • Experience with Tableau/Tableau for CRM and Salesforce required
  • Expertise in data analysis; ability to effectively use data and analysis to tell a story
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth understanding of commercial drivers and processes from lead-to-cash
  • Comfortable interacting with commercial leaders
  • Experience with juggling multiple projects at once and prioritizing work effectively
