Brief Overview:

The Commercial Operations & Analytics Manager will play a critical role within the Growth Operations Department. Specifically, the individual will work with Commercial Leadership to development analytical insights aimed at improving sales productivity required to achieve the Commercial Team Objectives & Key Results, as well as, provide analysis & decision-making support across the Commercial & Growth Organization.  Additionally, the individual will work cross collaboratively to interpret the business intelligence they produce and leverage it to develop a well thought out narrative with the ultimate goals of informing action by Commercial Leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understand the key drivers of the business and support the development of an analytical framework that drives actionable insights within the Commercial Team.
  • Become a trusted analytical partner to the Commercial Leaders and identify areas to strategically enhance the Commercial Team’s analytical tools and participate in delivering critical insights to leadership.
  • Serve as a “power user” of Salesforce, Tableau for CRM, Excel and other tools to provide sales metrics, forecasts, and reporting on sales activity that informs Commercial Leaders.
  • Support high-priority commercial initiatives by integrating insights from forecasting and data analytics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide access to real-time insights to drive operational decisions in line with strategy.
  • Collaborate with third-party consultants and internal Business Systems team to enhance data and reporting. Assist with the development of relevant business rules to enable accurate measurement and reporting of key metrics.
  • Assist with key activities during planning and budgeting cycle.
  • Interact directly with Commercial Leaders to create a feedback loop for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to other departmental metrics, KPIs, scorecards and business analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Operations at high-tech or software company
  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
  • Expertise in data analysis; ability to effectively use data and analysis to tell a story
  • Experience with statistical modeling
  • Experience with Tableau/Tableau for CRM, Salesforce, SQL, Power BI preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth understanding of Commercial Operations business practices for sales processes from lead to cash Experience working in high-growth and deadline-driven environment
