Responsibilites
Serve as key resource assisting with all payer contracting analytics with a focus on hospital and physician provider types.
- Lead projects to completion by contributing to building contract models, executing contract model simulations, and effectively summarizing and communicating simulation results.
- Effectively summarize quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Apply proven critical thinking skills in order to anticipate questions from key stakeholders and consider all aspects of an analysis before completion.
Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- Prefer minimum of one year of experience in Managed Care, Healthcare Finance, Patient Financial Services, Healthcare Reimbursement, Healthcare Cost Accounting or Healthcare Decision Support.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data analytics (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Vlookups, etc.).
- Ability to communicate between different departments.
- Ability to perform in a team environment.
- Flexibility in work habits and patterns in order to respond to the constant and numerous changes impacting the healthcare environment.
