If you’re excited to work with a tightly knit team of data engineers solving hard problems the right way using cutting-edge data collection, transformation, analysis, and monitoring tools in the cloud, this opportunity is for you. You'll be part of the Identity team whose mission is to build the next generation of Audience & Identity data platform that handles enormous scale and uses state-of-the-art technologies to unlock the data’s business value. We build and maintain high-quality data solutions to process terabytes of user data on the cloud-native data platform using AWS.

Job Description

As a part of this role, you will

  • Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
  • Design and build scalable, low-latency data processing pipeline using cutting edge AWS services, 3rd party open-source/commercial software, and internally developed software to ingest, process, and deliver huge user data sets
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
  • Support and troubleshoot data and/or system issues. Collaborate with external teams to identify, troubleshoot, and permanently resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop in-house tools to automate common tasks.
  • Work with languages like Java, Scala Python, Bash, and SQL. Conduct code and design reviews to ensure the product quality remains high.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-4+ years of hands-on work in the field of Software development and Big Data.
  • Proven experiences in building scalable data processing pipeline
  • Ability to write good quality code in Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins is preferred
  • Must be versatile and an inquisitive problem solver.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field of study

Education

Bachelor's Degree
