Data is at the core of everything we do. As a Data Product Manager you will be providing oversight and expertise on core services to our customers. The Data Product team serves as the bridge between the customer (both external and internal) and our data/engineering teams. Ensuring products are delivered on time with the highest quality.
 
Our Data Product team assists in a variety of data products and initiatives across all our market segments, from higher education to government to every industry in the private sector. This role works closely with engineering, product, account managers and clients to provide subject matter expertise and help resolve data issues.

Responsibilities:

    • Help manage data products through their lifecycle from conception and development to release
    • Gather and document requirements for data products
    • Collaborate and coordinate with other data product managers and engineering team leads to create data products with people in mind
    • Working with data engineers to make decisions based on client needs and use cases, representing the Voice of the Customer
    • Work with Data Quality Analysts to provide analysis for Engineering on new intiviates as well as monitor overall data quality
    • Investigate the root cause of data issues and assign issue tickets to appropriate data team
    • Be the main point of contact for CS representatives and clients for a product or initiative

Experience & Education:

    • Experience with data in either a product or analytical role is strongly preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
    • A familiarity with large data sets, data pipelines, and machine learning 
    • A bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical field (Mathematics, Computer Science or Data Science) valuable but not required
    • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences through multiple mediums is preferred.
    • Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and other data tools is highly valuable but not required.
