As a product data science intern, you will work closely with our team (product managers, designers, ML researchers, engineers, doctors, operations) to develop key metrics that guide our product development, perform data analysis, and understand the critical ways in which our product works and what will enable us to achieve our mission. In this role you will be interfacing closely with the executive team, and implementing changes to the way we make our decisions

An ideal candidate has:

• Demonstrated experience in a data science intern role at a consumer-facing company
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams all the way from AI researchers to decision makers.
• Experience generating insights using statistical techniques (e.g. regression, hypothesis testing)
• Understanding of programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python) to manipulate, clean, and analyze data
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in a quantitative field

Nice to haves:

• Data engineering knowledge (e.g. dbt , BigQuery, Hive, Spark)
• Knowledge of dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Datastudio)
• Exposure to healthcare industry

We are located in Palo Alto, in the heart of Silicon Valley but internships are fully remote, can start any time of the year and typically last 12 weeks, though we are always open to collaboration beyond the internship.
