We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer focused on data and passionate about healthcare to help architect, implement, and maintain the future of our data platform at Curai. Your work will have tremendous impact on stakeholders within the company while also helping us provide low-friction, high-quality care for patients on the Curai platform.

In this role you will:

    • Have a huge impact in the early stages of a consumer product
    • Help lead the charge on building out our internal data platform and driving towards insights that lead to step-function improvements in how we operate
    • Own the end-to-end internal data engineering lifecycle, including identifying and integrating new data sources, maintaining the health of our data pipelines and data warehouse, and working with stakeholders to model data into useful structures
    • Collaborate with our machine learning and data science teams to deliver tooling and infrastructure useful for executing their responsibilities end-to-end
    • Analyze large data sets and identify and solve data errors, quality issues, and provide data insights
    • Articulate best practices around logging frameworks and implement the changes to make those practices a reality
    • Implement alerting systems to track data quality and consistency
    • Work with a diverse multi-disciplinary team that includes software engineers, machine learning researchers, physicians, product managers, and UX researchers
    • Help build a high-performance and inclusive work environment

An ideal candidate has:

    • 4+ years of experience in software development
    • 2+ years of experience working with data engineering and platform projects
    • Coding experience in Python / Java or similar object-oriented languages
    • Working knowledge of SQL databases and queries, as well as experience designing data schemas
    • Experience working with modern data computing platforms and tools such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
    • Computer science or similar technical degree, or equivalent practical experience
