We're looking for a Data Science Lead to partner with the Director in establishing world-class systems and processes for the Data Science efforts at Antenna. You will have the opportunity to advance our most important initiatives because of your detailed diligence in managing our models, designing new models, and proactive collaboration with the Product team. 

You will report to our Director, Data Science. Antenna is remote-empathetic and welcomes applicants from anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Do

• As a Data Science Lead, you will act as a liaison between the data science team and our product management, data operations and engineering teams to deliver our next generation solutions
• Ensure that our data science models are developed with scientific rigor and carefully maintained
• Ensure reliable, accurate, and on-time delivery of our data solutions
• Communicate with internal stakeholders & customers about any disruptions to our delivery, as well as the planned remedies to correct them
• As a Data Science Lead, you will be expected to
• Develop data models to ensure the quality and trendability of our reports
• Develop a solution to identify errors, outliers and trend breaks in support of the efficiency of our data operations team
• Maintain and improve existing solutions to reflect the constantly changing environment of subscription services
• Institute standard operating procedures around our existing models to ensure stability and reproducibility of the data 
• Provide a data science perspective on the design of data architecture required for our existing and future products
• Assess new data partners by evaluating the quality and usability of new data sources for future development. Also, design the initial versions of data models needed to incorporate new data sets 
• As a Lead, you will also be expected to provide technical mentorship to other team members and help recruit data scientists to our fast growing team

Who You Are

• 5 years of experience in applied data science and analytic methods (data regression, AI, classification, time series, etc)
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL. Comfort with advanced analytics and data visualization tools such as Pandas Pyspark. Familiarity with Google Cloud
• Proven experience in balancing practical business requirements and scientific rigor
• Proven technical leadership to identify, develop, implement and maintain data driven solutions 
• Proven track record of successfully managing internal and external stakeholders through respectful candor, proactive communication, etc.
• Comfortable with change and ambiguity and knows how to effectively prioritize time and resources
• An affinity for our customers — consumer subscription brands
• Bonus: experience managing, mentoring, or coaching data scientists and engineers
• Bonus: experience in market research, marketing technology, or digital advertising 
• Bonus: experience in product analytics
