We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist who is an expert in Statistical Modeling to model our consumer panels to the general population, taking care to correct any demographic & behavioral biases present in the panels. 

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience with consumer panels of all shapes & sizes.
• 5+ years of experience modeling panels to populations and correcting bias.
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Cloud based computational tools.
• Excellent verbal & written communicator – can explain how models and systems work to both non-technical and technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Define our target population – how large is the world of subscription media consumers.
• Model our panels to the target population taking care to correct demographic and behavioral biases.
• Accurately project real subscriber numbers and revenues for all subscription media services – compare with publicly reported numbers.
• Ensure we’re correctly integrating numerous discrete consumer panels throughout the process.
• Review and approve methodologies – ensure that our approach is robust & scalable.
• Audit data for any inconsistencies and mine for solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to implement statistical models.
• Rigorously document all findings.
