As a Data Scientist, you will partner with clients to understand functional business requirements and then turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound organizational decisions. The focus is on providing advanced statistical analysis, mining large data sets, developing and maintaining predictive models, and providing technical leadership in data analytics.

What You Will Do:

• Conducts statistical analysis in parallel and confirm results
• Refines analyses, structures relevant data, and ranks models and findings in order of their applicability to business goals
• Documents all analysis steps, QA process, and any variations in findings
• Translates findings for a business or clinical audience
• Writes complex SQL scripts to be parameterized or used as stored procedures
• Develops programs using R and/or SQL
• Specifies, designs and builds predictive models and presents analysis and recommendations to clients
• Reviews work of Data Scientists and Data Analysts

What You Will Bring:

• 4+ years’ experience in data science
• Advanced proficiency in regression methods and modeling
• Proficiency with Python, Scala, R, SQL, data queries, and data transformation
• 4+ years' experience with Spark 
• Ability to manage and analyze large-scale relational databases
• Ability to identify and define requirements
• Ability to turn functional requirements into a predictive or prescriptive analytics solution that addresses complex business problems
• Ability to produce descriptive, explanatory summaries of analysis for non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to develop and present recommendations to clients
• Ability to develop, apply, and maintain data modeling methodologies and analytical tools
• Ability to document highly detailed analysis and extraction methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
