We are searching for an individual with a unique combination of skills across Data Science, engineering, and customer service. This is a high visibility role that will be both client and engineering facing. The individual will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop short- and medium-term project roadmaps and then execute on them.
The project space is broad, including data sourcing and validation, predictive model creation, dashboarding, process automation, and analysis/presentation. An eye for clean, high-quality work is a must, whether it be production grade flake8 code or compelling visualizations to be presented directly to clients. The ideal candidate will work well collaboratively, but also be able to lead projects in their entirety, from design to delivery and maintenance.
This role will be a part of Guidewire’s Analytics group which helps the property & casualty (P&C) industry to utilize insurance data, both internal and external, for rating and operations, as well as for newer evolving risks like Cyber. By combining internet-scale data listening, adaptive machine leaning, and insurance risk modeling, our Analytics solutions provide insights and analytical capabilities that enable our customers take advantage of new opportunities, accurately price exposures, and get the most out of their operations and service processes.
