*Please note, this position can be based in Irvine, CA, Austin, TX, or remote
Will be responsible for all aspects of design development and delivery of database solutions. Will develop and maintain high database development standards, do peer review, and maintain high code quality. Will collaborate with other team member and lend support to business/technology teams as necessary during SDLC process to ensure robust and scalable solution.

How you'll add value:

    • Proficient knowledge of database technologies
    • Work closely with Data warehouse, report development and architecture team/s
    • Design, build, test, and maintain data structures such as data marts, Data warehouse, cubes, and data pipelines in Azure.
    • Design, build, test, and maintain data pipeline and ELT/ETL process for structured, and semi-structured data.
    • Implement MS SQL best practices involved with OLTP and Data warehouse environments.
    • Recommend ways to improve overall performance, reliability, and quality of ELT/ETL process.
    • Optimize database performance using DMVs, execution plan, SQL profiler and other SQL monitoring and debugging tools.
    • Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data
    • Remain current with development in data architecture, data analytics, and data science industry
    • Logical and detail-oriented approach to work
    • Keeps a strong client focus in executing all functions of the job
    • Communicates effectively and responds to internal emails and inquiries within reasonable timeframes
    • Is a team-player in his or her department and the Company as a whole
    • Behaves respectfully to others in the workplace

    • Data warehouse and BI
    • o   Design and develop DW practice to support time variant historical reporting of transactional and business critical data
    • o   Design and develop fault tolerant near real-time data pipeline
    • o   Design and develop DataMart’s and Cube
    • Database development
    • o   Develop and maintain high database development standards
    • o   Work with business/technology teams to support database development

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

    • CS Degree or related experience
    • Data warehouse experience using Microsoft SQL server
    • Tools and technologies: SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
    • PowerShell 
    • GitHub
    • Bamboo
    • Azure SQL
    • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
