Job Summary:
The Director People Analytics will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled consultants and managing the development and execution of advanced analytics projects related to human resources as well as ensuring data is organized and accessible to enable data-driven decisions and support the company’s growth.
This position will report to the VP – People Strategy & Analytics and collaborate closely with other HR functions and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall people analytics strategy in collaboration with HR leadership and business stakeholders
- Lead a team of data analysts and data scientists to deliver insights based on large and complex HR data sets
- Design and implement predictive models to identify trends and patterns related to employee engagement, performance, retention, and other people-centered metrics
- Partner with HR business partners to provide data-driven recommendations for talent management initiatives such as recruitment, retention, workforce planning, and leadership development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement HR dashboards and visualizations, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and tools
- Lead the development of global data governance, data quality, and data management processes and procedures.
- Stay current on industry trends and new developments in people analytics and data science, identifying opportunities to enhance the organization’s analytics capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in people analytics or workforce analytics, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling
- Experience with advanced analytics technologies such as R, Python, SQL, and machine learning
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
- Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices.
- Understanding of data quality and how to implement data quality management programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner
Allstate prides itself on offering our employees a robust Total Rewards package which includes base salary. The base range offered for the role is: $165-220K and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors. The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
