About the role:
A key data team responsibility is to ensure proper data governance at Udemy. As an Enterprise Data Engineer, you will lead projects and oversee strategies that enhance the availability and usability of our Enterprise Data Warehouse. You will ensure complete, accurate, and SOX compliant data is available for the Finance departments to fulfill all the revenue reporting requirements for a public company.
You will work with business partners and data analysts within the team to enable internal stakeholders to work more efficiently and effectively with the data. Your main responsibilities will be to build, improve, maintain, and document quality data pipelines to be consumed by analysts and end-users for reporting, descriptive, and predictive analytics. You will be using technologies and tools such as Snowflake, S3, Hive, Airflow and others.
