As an Intern on the Fund Finance Team, you'll help with documentation, research, process improvement, and analytics on the Techstars portfolio of startups. You'll gain exposure into venture capital, fund operations, and tracking company KPI's in the process.

General Job Description

• Support the fund finance team in understanding its portfolio activity, updating management on the status and assist with any ongoing projects
• Document the KPI progress of portfolio companies
• Document help requests from portfolio companies
• Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments
• Develop business, financial and analytical skills needed for a career in financial services
• Reviewing financing documents and extracting key data and enter into systems
• Update and assure the accuracy of systems
• Assists in improving company processes
• Accurately completes duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital, etc.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program; with relevant courses in accounting, finance, economics or business
• Familiarity with the VC landscape is a big plus
• Salesforce experience is desired but not required
• Able to jump in and complete any task quickly and effectively 
• Be a problem solver and effective communicator
• A positive outlook, desire to learn and meet new people, lots of energy and enthusiasm
• Able to work in a virtual capacity 
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Strong research, analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills are essential

Pay: $13/hr
