LastPass is looking for a Manager, Product Data Science

We’re looking for a Manager, Product Data Science who will lead our data science team reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The data science team delivers metrics, KPI’s and insights that enable us to delight our customers with our products and achieve our business growth outcomes.

Who will you work with?

In this role, you will collaborate with teams across the company including product managers, user experience design, engineering, sales, customer success, marketing and finance. You will help us make our products better and deliver strong business outcomes. You’ll lead a newly formed team and help them grow in the impact they will make on the business.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

Technical Leadership

  • Metric operationalization and dashboarding
  • Design, build, and deploy data pipelines and workflows using Databricks
  • Develop and optimize Apache Spark applications for data processing and analytics
  • Integrate Databricks with various data sources and platforms
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes
  • Train and deploy Machine Learning algorithms

Team Development

  • Foster the career growth of your team members
  • Be an advocate for your team, ensuring their needs are met and their voices heard
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to help team members thrive
  • Structuring and Organization:
  • Bring structure to the team by defining clear roles, responsibilities, and processes
  • Align tasks and projects with business objectives and prioritize work on the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to USD $190,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
