LastPass is looking for a Staff Data Analytics Engineer:
As a Staff Data Analytics Engineer you will be building data solutions and products that empower our business teams to derive more meaningful insights from our data. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a unique blend of technical expertise in data architecture, engineering, and business analytics, with a strong focus on designing scalable data models to create/transform data, optimizing data pipelines, and providing actionable insights through advanced analytics and data visualization techniques.

Who will you work with?
This is a cross-functional role. You will be partnering with business leaders, peers and teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, G&A, CX and Engineering to build data capabilities. You will work on strategic company initiatives which are large and complex but also focus on near-term tactical areas that create immediate impact to our business
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- As the Staff Data Analytics Engineer on the team you not only understand the data at LastPass, but also knows how to use it to make that data actionable
- Be a champion of “data as a product” and strive to build robust and scalable data products
- You love thinking about the ways the business can benefit from data and you will build new data assets, automate analyses and reporting.
- You will define, prioritize, structure, and execute strategic and operational data initiatives which includes gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and collaborating with data engineering to buildout recommendations.
- Use your advanced data skills building data models for consumption by a team of data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and our internal data consumers
- Work with data engineering and product and business teams to identify and instrument new data sources. Ensure there is clean data at source and minimize the use of business logic in data marts.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and business data analysts to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive analytics solutions.
- Implement best practices for data governance, including data quality, metadata management, and data privacy.

- Hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Strategy with the ability to solve problems in fast-moving ambiguous business environments through data.
- Expert-level skills in SQL, ETL, Modeling, Analytics or Reporting and intermediate in Python/R and statistical methods

- You have strong business acumen, in addition to possessing excellent business partnering and collaboration skills.
- Experience influencing senior leadership on analytical decision making.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $150,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $170,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
