Senior Ecommerce & Planning Analyst, LastPass Marketing Strategy & Operations team

Location: US Remote

LastPass is actively searching for a highly driven and curious “Senior Ecommerce and Planning Analyst” to unleash bold growth opportunities for LastPass’ marketing and leadership teams. This highly visible role will report to the VP Marketing Analytics and is responsible for tackling challenging questions around revenue growth, spend optimization, forecasting, attribution and return on investment. The successful candidate will be very comfortable designing and executing elegant analytical solutions to solve complex business questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end performance metrics for LastPass Ecommerce across consumer and B2B segments while managing accuracy and data quality/availability issues
  • Develop scalable forecasting and testing framework for eCommerce business to model, measure and optimize conversion, sales and profitability
  • Develop, maintain and continuously enhance a comprehensive suite of reports and dashboards including performance, cohort views, quality and Marketing metrics to support decision making through insights
  • Perform advanced analytics (scheduled and ad-hoc) to support decision making at various levels (strategic and tactical) through adept data exploration, integrating silo’d datasets (offline and online for e.g.) and data mining
  • Pro-actively develop and explore new hypothesis to inform and guide LastPass growth Marketing pursuits (new user acquisition, current user growth, retention etc.)
  • Present results in a clear and concise manner to Marketing leadership along with context and scenario planning
  • Work collaboratively with Demand generation, product and customer experience teams (among others) to dispense actionable learnings

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in data analytics with focus on high velocity Ecommerce data
  • Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or quantitative fields and a demonstrated record of using quantitative techniques to monitor and derive insights into customer behaviors and product performance
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques such as Forecasting, Classification (clustering, Logistic etc.), predictive modeling, time series analysis etc. and ability to apply those techniques through R or Python to answer business questions
  • Proficient in analytics & visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), database languages (e.g. SQL) and working knowledge of integrated ETL/ML development (e.g. Databricks)
  • Ability to translate business questions into exploratory analysis and effectively simplify business findings
  • Experience in querying and manipulating large data sets for analysis
  • Strong communication/interaction skills and proven track-record of impacting business performance with analytics
  • Strong work ethic complemented by a proactive attitude
