The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Marketing Data Engineer joining our Growth team.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Engineering professional who is excited about working with marketing data and systems in the cloud. You should have a love of data, SQL, Python, Analysis and a great understanding of data administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Help us set up and run a best-in-class marketing data pipeline
  • Work with the relevant engineering teams to provide underlying structured data for analysis. This includes architecting and managing the collection, storage, extraction, transformation, load, and querying of data across an evolving and diverse Martech stack:
    • Hubspot (CRM)
    • SFDC (CRM)
    • Funnel / Meltano (ETL) for ad platforms
    • Segment (CDP)
    • GA (Web)
    • GCloud ->Big Query (Query)
  • Run advanced statistical quantitative analysis.
  • Assist with data visualisation and representation as needed.

Requirements

  • Masters in a technical subject (Computer Science, Programming, Statistics) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience designing, building and running a cloud-based data pipeline for a marketing function. Segment experience an advantage.
  • Strong Python / R, and SQL skills
  • ETL, dashboarding skills.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work and make decisions independently.
  • A kind, empathic, and patient person.
  • Someone who loves working with people and solving problems with them.
  • One who cares deeply about diversity and inclusion.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
