Analytica is seeking a Power BI Developer to support data and analytics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely and directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud or on-premises software and technology projects. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data analysis requirements and translate them into effective Power BI dashboards and reports.
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and usability for analysis in Power BI.
Implement data models and calculations in Power BI to enable efficient data exploration and analysis.
Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and responsiveness.
Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless data integration and quality assurance.
Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users for utilizing Power BI effectively.
Participate in data governance activities to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Document Power BI development processes, data models, and technical specifications.
Provide technical inputs to agile processes, such as epic, story, and task definition to resolve issues and remove barriers throughout the lifecycle of client engagements
Mentor, help and grow junior team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field.
7+ years’ experience 5+ years of experience in software development, working with Databases and BI Reporting Projects.
5+ years’ experience with developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI
Demonstrated SQL development experience by writing queries and procedures and using functions to create curated data for use in reporting.
Ability to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI
Exposure to Power Query, DAX, and Dataflows (for extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data)
Exposure to Dimensional Modeling and Semantic Layer design.
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with a wide range of audiences and maintain interpersonal relationships.
Ability to work within time constraints and manage multiple tasks against critical deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Administration of the Power BI infrastructure, System Governance & Tenant Management
Experience in AZURE – workspaces, data lake, data pipelines
Exposure to SSAS, SSRS, Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, and Power Automate
