PagerDuty is looking for a Product Marketing Analyst who is passionate about storytelling with data. PagerDuty analysts are skilled, curiousand driven to develop insight that will impact business decisions. This role has high exposure within the company as you will often be working with senior leadership. Accordingly, strong communication skills will be key. 

As a Product Marketing Analyst, you will have a deep knowledge of our Product and its associated data as well as our team's strategy. You will deliver powerful data-driven stories to communicate PagerDuty's value proposition and role as the leading provider of Digital Operations management solutions. You work quickly and confidently while delivering high-quality output. 

Key Responsibilities

    • You will be reporting to the Sr Product Analytics Manager and will be an integral member of the larger PagerDuty Product team, collaborating closely with the VP of Product, the Director of Product Marketing, and cross-functionality with the Corporate Marketing team. 
    • You will be the data and analytics backbone of the Product Marketing team. 
    • You will query our Snowflake data warehouse to conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover rich stories worth sharing. 
    • You will analyze the nature of our accounts and what they value from our platform.
    • You will help with strategic Product planning.
    • You will communicate findings to the Executive leadership team and to the general public. 

Skills and Attributes

    • Ability to turn data into a compelling narrative.
    • Advanced data analysis skills.
    • Detail-oriented while considering the big picture.
    • Passion for learning and driving to an answer.
    • Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment and fielding responsibilities spanning multiple projects at any given time.

Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, or Business.
    • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Marketing / Business / Product Analyst or Consultant.
    • Familiarity with SQL.
    • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for analytical exploration.

Preferred Qualifications

    • SQL fluency, particularly in the Snowflake environment.
    • Proficiency with a cloud-based BI tool such as Periscope or Mode.
    • Experience using Python or R to dive deep into data to discover the properties of metrics and produce high quality visuals.
    • SaaS / Startup background.
