As a Senior Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Metrics and Analytics organization, this is a remote position that can sit within the PNC footprint, although it may not be available in all jurisdictions. Certain job responsibilities may require in-person, in office activities on a regular basis.”

Job Description

• Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
• Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
• Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
• Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
• Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

• Position requires being able to gather data from a variety of sources including internal customer data, demographic data, public financial data such as FDIC, and geographic based data using one or more of the following tools including SQL/SAS/Python and/or GIS software.

  Being able to gather, manipulate, consolidate, report and/or create reporting processes, analyze data and present findings tailored to meet the level of stakeholder is critical.

  Candidate would have experience in data gathering, reporting and analysis. 

  Experience with one or more of the following is ideal:

• SAS
• Python
• Tableau
• Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Geographic information systems such as MapInfo Pro or ARCGIS

• Pittsburgh and Cleveland are preferred locations.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
