Overjet is looking for an experienced senior analyst to help support our existing Insurance line of business. As an early team member to the growing analytics organization, you’ll have significant input into how the company develops its analytics architecture to better support internal and external stakeholders at scale. As a senior member of the team you’ll serve as mentor to other analysts and be required to work with great autonomy.

What you would be doing:

  • Work closely with product, customer success, operations, and engineering teams to provide analytical support and data-driven decision making for Overjet’s Insurance business unit.
  • Leverage robust statistical methodologies to clearly articulate the impact of Overjet’s product to our Insurance customers.
  • Develop expert level data reports, visualization, and dashboards for both external and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the timely and profitable delivery of our services and deliverables on engagements
  • Continuously identify areas of improvement to enhance data driven decision making throughout the organization
  • Serve as a mentor to other analysts on the team

Strong candidates will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in the field of analytics and data science
  • Vast experience working with statistical and econometrics methodologies like A/B testing, regression, regression discontinuity, and diff-in-diff analyses
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics and analyses into easily understood and actionable messages
  • Strong communication skills at all levels (executive to functional levels), including presentation and project management skills to align internal and external stakeholders to drive key initiatives forward
  • Solution-oriented, agile and adaptable to thrive in a fast paced environment, always open to new ideas and the ability to recognize the business value of ideas
  • Fluency in SQL and Python or R, as well as experience working with unstructured data (MongoDB).
  • Significant experience with data visualization and analytics platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker), preferably Looker
  • Experience in insurance, dental/healthcare, technology, or enterprise software is a plus but not required
  • Experience working in SaaS, B2B software, or a prior start-up also a plus but not required
