About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us within the Data team. Responsibilities include:

• Build efficient and reliable data pipelines, ingest and transform data sets using SQL, Python & AWS
• Architect and manage a scalable data warehouse using AWS Redshift working alongside our team of analysts
• Build and maintain a single customer view to enable BI reporting and analytics
• Build and own the data dictionary for our self-serve reporting tool Looker; be responsible for event tagging across our various digital products by collaborating with the product teams on new features and enhancements
• Investigate, test and introduce new ways of working and technologies where appropriate
• Mentor junior team members

• Help to instil a self-serving data-driven culture across the business

About You

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have a minimum of 2+ years of technical experience in:

• SQL Databases
• Programming in SQL, Python, Terraform
• Amazon S3 Data storage
• Data warehousing in AWS Redshift
• Looker or equivalent BI tool

• Experience working with event level web/app analytics data via any of: Snowplow, Customer IO, Salesforce
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to tell stories with data
