The Role:

• Work with our team of Data and Machine Learning engineers to scale and increase the capabilities of our backend data platform for our important mission of delivering data-driven mental health care.
• Develop machine learning models for clinical decision support, patient onboarding, care coordination, growth team initiatives, and more! 
• Take algorithms from dev to production across the analytics and engineering ecosystems. 
• Participate in the development of scalable data-powered APIs by setting up AWS resources using terraform, kubernetes, docker containers, and github actions
• Leverage our workflow orchestration toolset using technologies like DBT and Airflow
• Develop analytics data models, while applying best practices for read and write performance
• Collaborate with PMs and engineering managers to evaluate ticket scope and timelines
• Mentor your colleagues in data, engineering and ML best practices
• Troubleshoot technical issues with platforms, including data discrepancies in BI tools Looker and Heap, and diagnose DataDog alerts, etc.

Our tech stack:

• Languages: Python, SQL

Who you are:

• Deep IC expertise working with data: exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, model deployment and validation
• Experience developing production models leveraging cloud machine-learning platform (preferably AWS Sagemaker), containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
• Experience in data modeling, schema design, and sysadmin tasks in relational databases. 
• Experience developing REST APIs that interface with robust and scalable microservices 
• Experience building data pipelines leveraging workflow orchestration (e.g. Airflow) 
• Manage releases and deployment, and work with QE and DevOps to automate testing.
• Experience working on an agile multidisciplinary team of engineers across backend, infra and data; as well as collaborating with onshore and offshore teams. 
• Engineer with security and compliance as a foundation
