We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer. 

You are a Senior Product Analyst who is excited to help build our analytics foundation to answer high impact product and business questions. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure we are ingesting the right data and making it consumable to all relevant parties. In addition, you will elevate our data fluency as an organization by establishing consistency around reporting metrics, leading product metrics meetings, and building out key analytics dashboards. 

What you'll do...

• Use data to inform project specific strategies by driving root cause analysis and improving the efficiency of operations based on data driven findings 
• Build exec-facing dashboards (Tableau) to track progress of the business and its highest priority initiatives.
• Analyze User flows and front-end tracking events to identify areas of friction in the Customer Journey and overall guest experience
• Facilitate “self-service analytics” by compiling useful data sets that other team member can use for analysis 
• Build and maintain Avantstay’s Front-End User Tracking Spec 
• Measure and visualize the effectiveness of product updates, conduct research and analysis on various processes to identify business problems, and further provide optimization suggestions to improve operating efficiency 
• Collaborate with members of Cross Functional teams and key stakeholders (e.g., data engineers, domain experts, product team) to optimize overall adoption and project's goals.
• Be passionate not only about the data, but also about improving the technology and processes AvantStay leverages for Analytics

What you’ll bring…

• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Mode, Quicksight) as well as event tracking and workflow analysis tools (e.g. Segment, Amplitude, Google Analytics, FullStory)
• Experience with Data Warehouses and familiarity with ETL pipelines 
• Highly proficient in SQL. Experience in Python or R is a plus
• Strong problem solving, conceptualization, and ability to communicate effectively to cross functional partners of varying technical levels
