One of our core principles is a dedication to data-driven decision-making. To do that well, we need product scientists with a strong product sensibility to work alongside our product managers and technical leads.
We are seeking an experienced product/data science professional to improve the job posting experience for small to medium employers. In collaboration with the Director of Product, you will use customer data to explore and design new product opportunities to help guide employers to post and manage high-quality jobs through segment-optimized experiences.
Responsibilities:
Find unique & surprising insights in data that would inform product strategy and development
Work closely with various product teams to test hypotheses based on data insights
Help define, understand and compute the metrics that track the success of product changes
Serve as the team’s in-house expert for experiment analysis and interpretation
Identify opportunity sizes and help define priorities for the Job team’s product focus
Who You Are
- Significant experience in opportunity scoping, sizing, & prioritization
- 5+ years analytics experience
- Experience designing and conducting complex projects
- Ability to write and explain results and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A/B testing and qualitative methods expertise
- Ability to build bridges and influence other teams
- Experience coding in Python, IQL/SQL, R or another advanced data programming language
- Experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productization, and monitoring of data science products
