About the Role

As the only Senior Staff Data Analyst on a Data Team of 20, you will be a leader in driving strategic analysis and frameworks across Dandy. You are someone who delights in a balance of hands-on work and mentorship (in a model akin to a “tech lead” in software). You are motivated by shaping thought, practices, and infrastructure in a rapidly growing company with real tech.

What You’ll Do 

• Conduct strategic analysis across all business domains, including:
• Marketing, Sales, RevOps, Account Management
• Supply Chain Operations (Design, Manufacture, Quality)
• Product, Engineering, Machine Learning / Computer Vision
• Customer Success Operations (tier 1, clinical, advanced)
• Special Projects, FP&A, Executive Leadership Team
• Mentor high-growth analysts as they conduct deep-dive analyses, particularly in:
• Brainstorming and framing potential analyses with maximum strategic impact
• Effective partnership with stakeholder teams
• Structuring an analysis plan; balancing exploration with focus
• Analytic rigor / cross-examination
• Effective knowledge transfer to stakeholders
• Shape new analytics functions, frameworks, and infrastructure

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of data analytics experience, preferably in a high growth startup environment
• Strong history of driving strategic analysis with obvious business impact
• Strong analytical acumen; can quickly develop intuitions for new/unusual problems with little prior experience
• Demonstrated repeated success in communications with and knowledge transfer to senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated deep experience across a variety of business domains such as are relevant to Dandy
• Demonstrated history of shaping analytics functions
• Demonstrated history of effective mentorship

• Experience with basic ML techniques for tabular data
