Lyra Health is looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to help define and execute on our BI strategy to improve data self service and improve analytics efficiency through data modeling.  You will partner with Analytics, Data Science and Data Engineering to understand Lyra’s business and develop data models to make data more accessible, easier to use and ensure consistent metric definitions.  This role is similar to Analytics Engineering at other companies.  If you’re a dbt expert who thrives in a mission and data driven environment then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Report to our Sr. Manager of BI and ensure that analytics and business users’ data needs are being more than met with high-quality data that is straight-forward to access and use
• Lead the development of analytics data models in dbt to make data accessible and meaningful for business users
• Ensure that we apply software engineering principles to analytics code
• Focus on the optimization of data queries and the longevity of data models
• Implement methods and processes to maintain data integrity and data governance
• Develop documentation and training to ensure analysts and business users can access and use data sources effectively

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Analytics Engineering or Business Intelligence 
• Has working knowledge with data warehousing applications, preferably Snowflake
• Proficiency in SQL and DBT
• Demonstrated experience with Tableau Server administration and migration projects
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and analytically
• A passion for delivering upon Lyra’s mission
• BA or BS preferred
