What you’ll do:

• Lead and develop analytics leaders and teams of analysts that deliver a variety of data solutions across the enterprise

• Build partnerships with senior and executive business stakeholders to identify, define, & prioritize opportunities for data solutions to improve & enhance business processes

• Develop and implement D&A strategy, engagement model, and service delivery model in partnership with business & technology stakeholders

• Be a D&A thought leader for the enterprise by keeping current on trends & advances in D&A technologies and approaches, and sharing findings to increase analytics teams’ abilities to deliver strategic value

• Be a champion for enabling data-driven decision-making

• Connect the dots between analytical outcomes and corporate strategic objectives for stakeholders

• Cultivate a data-driven culture through the creation of analytics deliverables that delight the customer and have a high degree of data integrity

• Prioritize data delivery activities both within and across analytics teams

• Lead the development of standards & best practices for analytics delivery

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and strategic direction to team members

• Work directly with the data engineering partners in the tech side to build a data platform that supports business needs.

• Work with various stakeholders across WEX to ensure data governance policies and practices are implemented by leading the DG teams. 

• Oversee the master data management strategy and plan and manage the MDM team.

Experience you’ll bring:

• 15+ years of experience working on enterprise data delivery, with an emphasis on analytics or business intelligence

• 9+ years of experience in managing data teams and/or leading data projects from an analytics or BI perspective

• Prior experience building & developing data and/or analytics teams

• Experience developing D&A strategic plans and roadmaps, and tracking progress against them

• Practical experience working with or leading teams working on modern reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

• Practical experience working with or leading teams working on modern data management tools (Snowflake, DBT, Alteryx)

• Working knowledge of and hands-on experience with SQL

• Cross-functional knowledge of common enterprise data concepts:  modern data stack, data engineering, data governance, data quality, master data management, advanced analytics

• Expert communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with senior stakeholders to understand their unique business challenges and guide teams to develop data-driven solutions to address them

What would make you stand out:

• Experience developing & driving a Data Platform Center of Excellence

• Fintech/payments industry experience

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $172,000.00 - $229,000.00
