About the Role
GoodRx is seeking a Senior Manager, pricing and market intelligence to help us better understand our competitive price position in the market, and translate insights to action in order to drive growth. The individual in this role will be an expert in using pricing, claims, and third party datasets to help us derive insights. This candidate will report to our Director of Business Analytics.
The ideal candidate is a driven and highly motivated individual with a background in pricing and healthcare and/or technology strategy. This candidate will have experience working cross functionally across several functional areas including: Pricing, Product, Marketing, and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience working in consumer pricing, with claims data, as well as with third party datasets like IQVIA, Nielsen, or Forian. This individual will be comfortable converting insights from any datasets they work with into actionable strategies and tactics with cross-functional partner teams and leading multiple concurrent initiatives.
Monitor GoodRx’s competitive pricing position against the market, and identify categories where we have opportunity to deliver additional value to our consumers. Educate the organization on this price positioning and our associated market opportunities.
Model impact of competitive price changes to volumes, revenue, and consumer retention/churn.
Monitor launches of new Brand drugs, and/or conversion to generics in-market
Evaluate our market share by drug category, and develop strategies to help us secure or grow categories where it is the right fit for our business and consumers.
Translate opportunities identified with the organization into materials for external parties, so that we may enrich our pipeline of growth opportunities for GoodRx and its pharmacy, PBM, and pharmaceutical partners in order to better serve our consumers.
6+ years of related experience, and a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree and 4+ experience; or equivalent work experience related to business analytics
PBM/Retail pharmacy/healthcare experience ideal.
Pricing and Business optimization experience required, PBM/Pharmacy pricing ideal.
Strong SQL, Redshift and Excel proficiency
Strong quantitative skills
Experience working with Power BI or Looker (preferred)
Cross-functional relationship project management skills
Expert analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
