About the Team: 

The Analytics team at Quizlet is at the forefront of product research and leverages our rich data set to represent the voice of our students and teachers at scale. Our team is scrappy, focused on results and made up of self-starters who drive our understanding of the product. We serve in a pivotal strategic role, identifying as well as driving inquiry on behalf of leaders at the company. The team is supported by an awesome Data Science and Data Engineering team that partners with analysts to make sure we are building a data-driven culture.

About the Role:

As the Subscriptions Sr. Product Analyst, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing and Finance to build an amazing subscriptions product for our students and teachers. You will be the owner and expert of subscriptions data, enabling you to identify new high-value opportunities, analyze A/B test experiments, recommend data-driven product decisions, define key business metrics, set company wide goals, present quantitative product research, provide revenue forecast guidance and so many other interesting problems. We are open to the role being fully remote work.

In this role, you will:

    • Be embedded in a specific product pod and partner with the Product Manager and Engineering Lead to go deep into one part of Quizlet’s business rather than being stretched thin across multiple teams
    • Help develop A/B testing through the entire experimentation life cycle, including inception, creation, measurement, and recommendations
    • Explore, develop, and present insights to the whole company that inform product roadmap and strategy, using one of the world’s largest learning science databases
    • Drive maturity and excellence in the way we measure success of our business

What you bring to the table:

    • Advanced SQL skills, including highly developed QA skills and ability to write efficient and optimized code 
    • Practical knowledge of planning, running and analyzing A/B tests
    • Experience working on monetization products
    • Forecasting skills and prior experience setting goals for key metrics such as revenue and traffic
    • Strong communicator: effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others
    • Strong understanding of the analytics toolkit, including funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, and user segmentation
    • 5+ years of experience in analytics at a consumer internet company
    • Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields

Bonus points if you have experience:

    • Working on a consumer subscription products
    • Using Google’s BigQuery
    • Working in Python

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

    • Colorado candidates: Base pay for this role starts at $114,000.  The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience
