Summary
Anaconda is seeking a talentedSr. Product Manager to lead our Anaconda Toolbox / Python in Excel effort. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply them to the world of data science and machine learning. You will:
- Lead our product vision and execution for the intersection of spreadsheets and our data science and machine learning offerings
- Be responsible for understanding what users, such as data scientists and business analysts, want from Anaconda to support their use of Python in combination with their spreadsheets.
- Develop the team and product roadmap necessary to unlock collaboration and co-innovation between Anaconda's Python data scientists and the spreadsheet-using communities
- Lead the development of Anaconda Toolbox, a set of capabilities to automate and democratize advanced Python capabilities for spreadsheet users.
- Be responsible for managing our partnerships with top software companies that utilize our novel data science capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and utilize a deep understanding of the needs of both the data science and spreadsheet-using communities and the associated opportunities and value created by integrating the power of spreadsheets and Python
Own product roadmap and strategy for Toolbox / Python in Excel, prioritizing customer value
Collaborate with other product development teams to drive solutions for our users
Drive large partnership opportunities with top-tier software companies
Ensure visibility of the work, the value you’re creating, and your team's accomplishments to the larger organization
Define and analyze metrics/dashboards to both gauge the success of projects and inform the roadmap
Synthesize user and field feedback and set expectations for short and long-term plans
Write clear and compelling Themes, Epics, and User stories.
Lead development and refinement of user personas.
Regularly conduct product demos and presentations externally
Align stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and services teams
Motivate the team and be a leader for all members of the product engineering team
Set go-to-market strategy and plan for releases with product marketing
Define and challenge market-fit
Develop pricing and packaging for the product offerings
Perform market and competitive research
What You Need:
6+ years of Product Management experience (preferably with a software company)
Experience with agile development, such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience/proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Ability to work/experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Demonstrated experience using data-driven decision-making to drive a product strategy
Team attitude: “I am not done until WE are done”
Hands-on experience defining user problems.
Demonstrated success in defining and launching products
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Understanding of core business metrics, like Revenue, ARR/MRR, churn
A “get it done” attitude

Direct experience with Data Science, AI, and ML workflows
