Responsibilities
The Sr. Workforce Planning Analyst will serve as the key analytical resource for projects related to enterprise-level workforce planning. This role will involve conducting statistical analyses, creating data products such as Tableau dashboards and reports, creating automation pipelines, and serving as a subject matter expert regarding Ascension’s data systems that support workforce planning.
- Design and maintain dashboards that support key strategic workforce planning initiatives
- Statistically analyze workforce data to identify trends, conduct what-if modeling, and highlight predictive indicators in line with long-term workforce needs
- Integrate and translate workforce, talent acquisition, and external labor market data from multiple sources to support the development of rich, compelling data stories that help drive impact to our businesses
- Seek out, establish, and leverage data sources relevant to workforce planning initiatives

Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau
- Strong data manipulation skills in Python/R
- Experience or showcased ability in business analytics and statistics (e.g., central tendency, distributions, variance, correlation, regression, chi-square/t-test, etc.)
- Experience or showcased ability in business analytics and statistics
- Demonstrated research experience (professional or academic)
- Experience in workforce planning or analytics preferred
