Who You Are

You are a motivated Total Rewards professional passionate about all things under the total reward umbrella, including compensation and benefits. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead the benefits and retirement programs at BHG. You will the point of contact for benefit related questions from employees, billing and vendors. In addition, you will work closely with the payroll team to ensure employee benefit deductions and limits are accurate. As a total reward professional, you have experience with compensation, equity compensation, sales compensation, executive compensation, open enrollment, and health and welfare programs. What You'll Do

    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of all Benefits Programs. Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments including 401(k), leave of absence, and paid time off plans in order to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
    • Performs routine audits of benefits-related data and leads the open enrollment process and works with HRIS on set-up, testing and related integrations with vendors.
    • Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and hosts benefit sessions while triaging escalated benefit Inquiries in partnership with our vendors.
    • Identify and plan for technology needs to support our benefit initiatives with the HRIS team
    • Annual processes - complete or assist with annual benefit processes such as annual enrollment, compliance notices, annual retirement plan audits, and updating communication materials.
    • Reporting, analysis, and reconciliation - create and maintain reports, perform data audits and analysis, reconcile payment and contribution discrepancies, and process billing.
    • Manage compensation projects throughout the year, such as salary administration, bonus planning, bonus calculations, salary structure revisions, and processing out-of-cycle pay adjustments.
    • Verify and reconcile data from different systems in People Development as well as with Finance and Payroll personnel including reconciling benefit invoices.
    • Provide guidance to Business Partners and leadership on pay decisions, policies, and guidelines
    • Compile, prepare, analyze, and present data in Excel and PowerPoint presentations
    • Keep appraised of federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations to ensure compliance
    • Partner with the larger PD organization to stay informed of and implement necessary policy and plan changes to remain compliant with state and federal laws

What You'll Need

    • 5+ years of experience in a total rewards-related role with a focus on benefits administration
    • Benefits administration experience with extensive understanding of benefits and applicable laws
    • Knowledge of job families across typical organization structures
    • Understanding of the financial impact of total rewards programs (financial acumen)
    • Strong background in analytics and metrics
    • Deep expertise and passion for Excel
    • Experience working with Workday as an HRIS platform
    • Well-developed organizational skills with close attention to detail, proven ability to have accuracy
    • Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data, draw conclusions, and summarize recommendations
    • Team player who thrives on collaboration and influencing without authority
    • Eager to learn, collaborate, and work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a willingness to support the team on ad hoc asks.
    • Proactive ability to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with varied stakeholders.
    • Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Project Management experience a plus
