About the Role: 

As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in building a research database and executing the data pipeline for the Research Science team to support R&D initiatives as well as product and business insights.  The ideal candidate has familiarity with research and analytical modeling and is experienced in originative and scalable data solutions to support research and analytical initiatives.  The role provides an opportunity to spearhead the architecture and management of the research database and will oversee necessary data pipelines to support the work of the Research Science team. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Solutionize complex data transformation needs for Research Science team
• Architect and manage a research database to support business and product insights
• Maintain necessary ETLs to support internal business and product reporting and analytics
• Consult in deploying analytical models and corresponding data ingestion pipeline 
• Evaluate and enhance performance of analytical queries and models
• Support internal stakeholders with ad hoc data analysis and presentation using data visualization tools
• Work closely with an eclectic team of researchers and translate research needs with data infrastructure

About You:

• 2+ years of recent experience in analytics engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data warehouse technologies required
• Experience with data cleaning, wrangling, visualization (e.g. Tableau) and reporting
• Experience in AWS, Redshift, and Airflow is a plus
• Willingness to explore new alternatives or options to solve data issues, and utilize a combination of industry best practices, data innovations and your experience to get the job done
• Legally authorized to work in the US
