Sprinklr is looking for an Associate Director of Data + Analytics who will lead a team of data analysts responsible for delivering the actionable insights that all areas of our business rely on. You will work with key users from different business groups to understand current business processes and requirements, identifying areas that have opportunity to be improved and/or streamlined, and designing data solutions that drive our internal decision making.

No “brilliant jerks” allowed!  We are a team who feed each other’s successes and take shared responsibility for failures.

About the Role (what you’ll be doing)

  • Total ownership of the data science function
  • You will own both the long-term technical strategy and the day-to-day operations, including fostering innovation and implementing best practices
  • You own the vision and roadmap for data science by working with your team, functional stakeholders and executives across the organization
  • Act as an internal consultant, collaborating with clients to identify research questions, establish hypotheses, determine metrics to be assessed, and interpret the results of analyses to drive insight; must be able to communicate and explain the results of more technical analyses to business partners in a digestible, visual fashion and recommend ways to further inform and evaluate success of an ongoing initiative.
  • Establish and build the newly minted Data + Analytics department, building a team of world-class data analysts who will support Sprinklr’s departments achieve our aggressive growth plans

About You

  • 5+ years experience as a Data + Analytics leader and have successfully managed data teams
  • Proved experience managing and growing a team of data analysts
  • You can work with people at all levels and departments to advocate for new capabilities and turn existing requirements into impactful capabilities
  • Experience with a broad range of warehousing and visualization tools. Experience with Domo highly preferred.
  • Advanced level of experience and understanding of Salesforce, Workday, Netsuite, Gsuite and their data types/structures.
  • You are well balanced - both business and technical teams claim you as their own. You are equal parts technical and functional.
  • Strong experience in data pipelines, ETL design (both implementation and maintenance), data warehousing, and experimentation platforms.
  • Expertise in designing and communication of dashboards and reports.
  • You excel at designing and building new and impactful KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance. You are equally comfortable presenting to executives as your are writing complex SQL queries.
