We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary AVP of Data Product Management to lead our healthcare analytics SaaS platform. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and growth of our product portfolio, focusing on healthcare analytics solutions that empower healthcare organizations to make data-driven decisions and improve patient outcomes. The right person for our role will have designed and developed (from a product perspective) modern, complex data solutions at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our healthcare analytics SaaS platform, with a strong emphasis on Interoperability across a wide range of healthcare data sets, including claims, EMR, clinical, pharmacy and other related data, harnessing advanced analytics technologies to deliver actionable insights.
  • Lead and inspire a team of product managers and product owners, guiding them in defining, prioritizing, and delivering innovative products and features that leverage complex healthcare data sets and meet the evolving needs of healthcare customers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, data science, and marketing, to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption of data-driven healthcare analytics solutions.
  • Design new solutions with an “automation first” framework that is focused on removing manual, labor intensive processes ranging from ETL/ELT to release management.
  • Data Platform Architecture: Design and oversee the development of a highly scalable, large-scale data platform in the cloud, utilizing any of the Cloud providers such as AWS, Oracle OCI, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)and Azure technologies. Leverage data lake houses, data fabric, and related solutions and tools such as AWS Glue, Oracle Data Integration, and Azure Data Factory for efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes across these platforms to create a unified and cohesive data ecosystem. Implement event-driven data processing using AWS Lambda, Oracle Functions, and Azure Functions to enable real-time data ingestion and analysis. Incorporate AI and ML capabilities, such as AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Oracle ML services, and Azure Machine Learning, to enable advanced analytics and predictive modeling on healthcare data.
  • Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to drive product innovation and differentiation in the realm of healthcare data analytics.
  • Monitor product performance, key organizational metrics, and market feedback, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and iterate on the product roadmap.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, employers, and other industry partners, to understand their pain points related to healthcare data analytics and drive product enhancements.
  • In partnership with other key stakeholders, develop and execute on a partner ecosystem to rapidly drive solution capability expansion and market growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics, with a particular focus on healthcare data sets, such as claims, EMR and SDoH, to proactively identify opportunities for product expansion.
  • Serve as a product evangelist, representing the company and its healthcare data analytics offerings at industry conferences, events, and customer engagements.
  • Agile Product Development: Drive an agile product development process, employing iterative methodologies to deliver features and enhancements in a timely manner. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, incorporating user feedback and analytics data to drive data-driven product decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in product management, with significant experience in leading and scaling product teams in the healthcare or healthcare analytics industry, specifically working with healthcare data sets, including claims, EMR, clinical, pharmacy and other related data with a focus on building large-scale data platforms.
  • Requires background in healthcare analytics, particularly in the payer and provider healthcare data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT, data orchestration, or workflow/care management software development space.
  • Extensive experience working with cloud-based services, including AWS, GCP, Oracle OCI, and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of data fabric concepts and familiarity with solutions such as AWS Lake Formation, GCP Data Catalog, Oracle Data Fabric, and Azure Synapse.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and familiarity with tools such as AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Oracle Data Integration, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with event-driven data processing using AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, Oracle Functions, and Azure Functions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare analytics and familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience with data transformation and modeling tools like dbt.
  • Proficiency in AI and ML technologies, such as AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Oracle ML services, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data, analytics, and technology landscape, including knowledge of relevant healthcare standards, regulations, and privacy considerations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate market insights related to healthcare data sets, advanced analytics technologies, and ETL processes into compelling product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving rapid product innovation and successful product launches in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a focus on leveraging complex healthcare data sets.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing product management team.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging healthcare data sets, and a passion for utilizing complex healthcare data to drive product improvement.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key industry stakeholders and effectively represent the company's product offerings, particularly in the context of healthcare data set

Compensation Information:

  • Base Salary Range: USD $190-210k + 20% bonus potential

**Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
